This supplemental document provides information about setting up an emergency switch (E-stop or bladed lockable disconnect) for low-voltage lithium batteries from Discover Energy Systems.

There are different ways to set up the emergency switch for different batteries:

1. General instructions for use with multiple models of Discover lithium batteries.

2. Specific instructions for AES RACKMOUNT Battery Modules. Use these instructions to design a system that turns off AES RACKMOUNT Battery Modules only, when they are either connected to a Battery Module Combiner Box or stacked in a Slimline Enclosure.
