E-Stop/Bladed Lockable Disconnect
AES RACKMOUNT Lithium batteries are connected with an inverter in the following E-stop/bladed lockable disconnect circuits (Figure 6, Figure 7). An emergency switch that is normally closed is connected to the RPO terminals in the system, allowing communication until the switch is engaged.
In an emergency, push down on the E-stop button or pull the handle of the bladed lockable disconnect to open (disconnect) the communication circuit and turn off the batteries.
