INTRODUCTION

This document provides essential guidance for the safe and reliable operation of the AES Cabinet Energy Storage System. It is intended for use by qualified personnel involved in the installation, commissioning, inspection, servicing, and routine system maintenance of the AES Cabinet Energy Storage System.

The AES Cabinet is a high-voltage, outdoor-rated lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) energy storage solution designed for commercial, industrial, and community energy applications. Its modular design supports scalable deployments from 200 kWh to 5 MWh and more. At the same time, integrated liquid thermal management and advanced battery protection systems provide stable performance across various environmental conditions.

This manual outlines procedures and responsibilities associated with system startup, operation, preventative maintenance, fault handling, and shutdown. It also includes references to detailed component manuals and safety requirements applicable to the AES Cabinet’s core subsystems, including:

  • Battery Control and Monitoring

  • Liquid Cooling and Heating (TMS)

  • Fire Detection and Suppression

Please read this manual in full before servicing or operating the AES Cabinet. For installation and commissioning details, refer to the AES 210HV Installation and Commissioning Manual (805-0092) and the 805-0104 AES Cabinet Outdoor C&I Installation Manual. For integration with specific inverters or external systems, additional documentation, such as the Sol-Ark 60K-3P-480V Integration Guide (885-0096), may be required.
