Enabling LYNK II to Communicate with Schneider Electric Devices
When properly connected to a closed-loop network and set to use the LV BMS protocol, LYNK II will transmit real-time parameters from the Discover Lithium battery, including voltage, current, temperature, state of charge, and fault conditions to the Schneider Electric inverter. LYNK II will also transmit charge voltage and current requests from the Discover Lithium battery to the Schneider Electric inverter.
LYNK ACCESS software for 64-bit Windows 10 / 11 is required to configure LYNK II settings for closed-loop CAN communication with Schneider Electric inverters.
When the Schneider Electric inverter is configured in a closed loop with Discover Lithium batteries and the communication breaks between the LYNK II and the inverter, preset open-loop (Comms Lost) values for XW PRO open-loop operation are selected by the Battery Type, which was configured during the BMS Setup. LYNK II does not configure these settings; the values provided are for reference only.
Many factors can influence DC voltage. State-of-Charge (SOC) is considered more reliable than DC voltage as a trigger value. Therefore, with Discover Lithium batteries, SOC Control is the default setup for all XW PRO systems.
