COM 2 (CAN Port)
The COM2 port on the HELIOS ESS enables closed-loop communication without using the LYNK II Gateway with some brands of inverters (see the table in the HELIOS ESS Closed-Loop Communication - Supported Inverters topic). Using the LYNK II Communication Gateway enables communication with all supported inverter brands. The LYNK II Gateway also enables using LYNK ACCESS software for battery diagnostics and connects to LYNK CLOUD for remote battery monitoring.
