Replacing the Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device

Overview

The FS0050 Aerosol Fire Extinguishing Device is a high-efficiency fire suppression solution designed with environmental compliance in mind. It provides a clean, high-tech alternative to Halon systems and is ideal for sensitive environments such as energy storage systems, communication rooms, and data centers.

Preparation

  1. Secure the FS0050 assembly with M3x10 screws and cap nuts.

  2. Ensure that the FS0050 units are properly connected on both ends.

Mounting

  1. Use expansion bolts and self-tapping screws to secure the FS0050 device at the specified location.

Thermal Sensor Activation Method

  1. Connect the thermal sensors to the fire extinguishing device, as shown below.

USAGE AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Ensure the fire suppression unit remains sealed before activation to maintain reliability.

  • During wiring checks, verify that all control components are in a safe state to prevent accidental discharge.

    • Red wire = Activation line

    • Green wire = Feedback signal

  • Ensure that no obstacles are within 400 mm (15.75 in) of the discharge nozzle.

  • Do not install the device near the downwind air outlet of the protected space.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in equipment damage.
