Disassemble, Recycle, and Dispose

Open disconnect devices to ensure there is no electrical connection to any externally connected Power Conversion Equipment.
|

Turn off each battery one by one using the battery ON/OFF push buttons.
|
|

Use a multimeter to verify there is no voltage on the battery terminals.
|
|

Disconnect and remove battery cables from the inverter and batteries.
|
|

Disconnect and remove CAT6 or higher communication cables.
|
|

If using conduit box:

Remove the screws holding the battery to the Wall-Mount Adapter.
|
|
-
Using a two or three-person lift or mechanical aid, detach the battery from the Wall-Mount Adapter.

Remove the Wall-Mount fasteners and detach the Wall-Mount Bracket.
|
|
-
Recycle all recyclable components.
|
|
-
Dispose of unrecyclable components following local waste disposal guidelines.
